Service Overview

In accordance with the Purchasing Handbook, an IT purchase approval number must be obtained for all technology purchases. Any technology that hasn't previously been approved for use, including hardware, software, and hosted or web-based services, will require a review by ITS prior to assigning IT purchase approval.

Getting Started

Include the name of the software or hardware, a basic description for use, and a requested need-by date. Once a request is submitted, ITS will evaluate whether any additional assessments are required prior to providing an IT purchase approval or assistance with quoting.

If additional assessments are required, ITS will provide guidance any any additional information required and assign tickets to the appropriate areas needing to assess the request.
