Service Overview
The Virtual Private Network (VPN) provides a secure, encrypted connection that allows employees to access internal San Jacinto College systems—such as Banner, network drives, and campus printers—from remote locations over the internet.
All employees have access to the GlobalProtect VPN, and all San Jacinto College-issued laptops have GlobalProtect VPN installed.

How to Report an Incident/Issue
Before submitting a request:
- Perform a full shutdown and reboot of your computer. Additionally, ensure you have a working internet connection.
- Note: The GlobalProtect VPN is blocked and not needed when on campus or at District offices. Use SJCD Secure Wi-Fi while on campus.
To report an issue, click the Report an Incident button and provide the following details:
- A contact phone number
- Your availability
- If using a San Jacinto College-issued computer: include the computer name
- If using a personal device: include the operating system (e.g., Windows or macOS)
