Phishing refers to fraudulent attempts to get personal information from you. Scammers use any means they can — spoofed emails and texts, misleading pop-up ads, fake downloads, calendar spam, and phony phone calls to trick you into sharing information, such as your password or credit card numbers.

How to Report an Incident/Issue

DO NOT RESPOND to the suspicious email, and do one of the following:

1. Forward the original email immediately to TechSupport@sjcd.edu.

2. Create a new email, attach the suspicious email to it, and immediately send it to TechSupport@sjcd.edu. This will provide our security team with more information to block and report the suspicious email.
