This article provides instructions for logging into all lab computers using the guest account via the Faronics Insight Teacher Console software.

Instructions
1. Log into the podium computer.
2. Click the up arrow in the system tray (bottom-right corner near the time).

3. Click the INSIGHT icon (owl logo) to launch the software.

4. The INSIGHT software will load. Click the red START button. Note: The fields for “Class IDs” and “Settings” auto-populate.

5. The computers will appear in the interface.

6. Click the radial refresh button to load all computers in the lab.

7. Once the computers load, select the down arrow next to the SELECT button, and select All.

Note: All computers will be outlined in blue, and the SELECT button will turn green.

8. Click the down arrow next to ACTIONS and select Restart Insight Agent.

9. In the pop-up window, click the orange RESTART INSIGHT AGENT button.

Note: Computer icons will briefly go opaque and then reappear.

10. Click the down arrow next to ACTIONS and select Log On.

11. Enter the following in the Log On Computer(s) window:
- User Name: sjc.guest
- Password: password (lowercase p)
- Domain Name: leave blank

12. Scroll down and click the blue LOG ON button.

Note: PC status updates will begin. You may briefly see “Log On Failed"—this is normal. Wait for the status to update.


13. Scroll up and close the Log On Computer(s) window.
14. All lab computers should now be logged in as sjc.guest. Minimize the INSIGHT software.
