Instructions

Each San Jacinto College computer should have a label or sticker that helps identify the device. This label includes: either an "O" for office or employee computer or "L" for classroom, lab or shared spaced computer, followed by its location C-11.199 and computer number 011. 

Example format: OC11-199PC011

If the label is missing, you can find the computer name using the steps below:

For Windows Computers:

1. Click on the Start menu .

2. Type ShowMyInfo in the search box, then click on the ShowMyInfo app.

3. If requested, attach a screenshot of the System Info to your support ticket.

For Mac Computers:

1. Click the Apple menu , then select System Settings.

2. In the sidebar, click General, then click About on the right (you may need to scroll down).

3. If requested, attach a screenshot of the About section to your support ticket.
